New Song: Kelly Rowland ft. Wiz Khalifa “Gone”

R&B superstar Kelly Rowland let’s us in on another collaboration entitled, “Gone,” featuring rapper Wiz Khalifa. Produced by Harmony, the track samples Joni Mitchell’s “Big Yellow Taxi,” which Janet Jackson also sampled on her 1997 single “Got ‘Til It’s Gone.”

Talk a Good Game hits stores June 18th! I am so excited about this release & I am rooting for my girl Kelly!

New Song: Kelly Rowland ft. Beyoncé & Michelle Williams “You Changed”

Riding high off the buzz of “Dirty Laundry,” Kelly Rowland rounds up her fellow Destiny’s Child divas Beyoncé and Michelle for “You Changed,” one of the most anticipated records off her album Talk a Good Game, due June 18th. While not considered a Destiny’s Child song, it’s probably the closest thing to a reunion we’re going to get for now.

“Ladies, ya’ll wanna do it again?” asks Kelly on the kiss-off anthem before B and Michelle chime in with their own verses, which they recorded separately.

Over a soulful midtempo groove, the trio sings about moving on and not looking back after a failed relationship.

Buzz: Kelly Rowland Performs “Dirty Laundry” Live

Kelly Rowland let it all out during the kickoff of the “Lights Out” tour with The-Dream in Washington, D.C. last night. The Destiny’s Child diva performed her emotional single “Dirty Laundry” off her upcoming album, Talk a Good Game, but she couldn’t hold back tears as she shared her confessions with the audience at The Fillmore.

“He turned me against my sister, I missed ya,” sang Kelly before breaking down (4:19).

But her fans cheered her on and after wiping away her tears, she picked it back up and finished the song.

Buzz: The-Dream & Kelly Rowland Perform Live on Jay Leno

The-Dream and Kelly Rowland took to the stage to perform their new duet “Where Have You Been” live on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Recently the pair have collaborated on joint efforts including an upcoming US tour entitled, “Lights Out” and Kelly’s latest track “Dirty Laundry,” which Dream co-wrote and produced from her forthcoming LP, Talk A Good Game.

“Where Have You Been” will appear on Dream’s album IV Play, scheduled for release May 28th.

“Just a signature R&B duet record, no games, no nothing, straight down the middle,” The-Dream said of the record, which he co-produced with Da Internz. “It was a chance for me to bond with another friend now that I have, which is Kelly.”

The duo will kick off their joint tour this Thursday in Minneapolis. Watch their performance here…

New Song: Kelly Rowland “Dirty Laundry”

R&B singer Kelly Rowland just dropped her new single “Dirty Laundry” from the upcoming album Talk A Good Game, available everywhere on June 18th.

Kelly explains, “It was very emotional. It took me days to record. I had to get past being so upset and actually sing the song, not sob through it. I always hope that my music can inspire someone, the same way other artists inspire me.”

The-Dream added that he “pushed” Kelly to hold nothing back on the track. “When you have a stage like Kelly has, you should talk about that part of your life,” he said. “I think Kelly’s way deeper than that.” Listen here… Continue reading 

Upcoming Tour: The-Dream & Kelly Rowland

The-Dream and Kelly Rowland will be coming to a city near you on their upcoming joint “Lights Out” Tour. The R&B stars who have collaborated on their individual forthcoming albums, will hit the road this spring on the US trek.

The tour will kick off on May 24 in Kansas City, Missouri and travel to cities such as Boston, Chicago, New York and more.

Both acts will be promoting their upcoming albums, with Dream’s ‘IV Play‘ coming first on May 28, followed by Rowlands ‘Talk A Good Game,’ which was just announced to be landing in stores on June 18.

New Song: Fantasia ft. Kelly Rowland & Missy Elliot “Without Me”

Fantasia puts her man on blast on her new single “Without Me.” The “American Idol” champ calls on her pals Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott on the ladies’ anthem, helmed by Kyle Stewart, Harmony Samuels, Al Sherrod Lambert, Missy, and Fantasia.

“What would you be without me?” asks Fantasia, while Kelly adds her sultry vocals and Missy spits a hot verse.

“So Thankful For These Two Beautiful Ladies,” said Tasia. “We Created A Monster on this Album.. Missy is Going STUPID HARD ON THIS 1!!! OMG!!! Kells VOCALS On Here!! Cra!! Thanks to my BABIES.”

The collaboration can be found on Fantasia’s fourth album Side Effects of You, in stores April 23rd.

New Video: Kelly Rowland “Kisses Down Low”

Kelly Rowland comes out to play in the fun and flirty video for her latest single “Kisses Down Low.” The Destiny’s Child diva models many different looks—from pinup girl to Marilyn Monroe to red head as she struts her stuff against the colorful backdrops.

“I’m so excited about this video. The theme is fun and flirty and pinup,” said Kelly of the Colin Tilley-directed clip. “The makeup is poppin’, the hair is poppin’, the styling is so cool, but it feels just really flirty. I wanted to bring that out of the song instead of making it as racy.”

The bedroom banger, produced by Mike WiLL Made It and written by Rock City, will appear on Kelly’s upcoming fourth album, Talk A Good Game. Continue reading 

Buzz: Kelly Rowland Changes Album Title

Kelly Rowland has had a change of heart. The Destiny’s Child diva has retitled her fourth album.

During an interview at the Grammys, Kelly revealed that the follow-up to 2011′s Here I Am will now be called Talk a Good Game. It was previously titled Year of the Woman.

“I recorded 50 songs and condensed it down and it tells a different story,” she said. “It’s way more intimate and a lot of it is some slick stuff that I’m saying out of my mouth, some things I can’t even believe I’m saying.”

She has been in the studio with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Rico Love, Kevin Cossom, T-Minus, and Rock City. Continue reading

OutKast rapper Big Boi reveals the visual for “Mama Told Me” featuring Kelly Rowland. Big Boi explained, “The video is going to be a surreal fantasy land, in which me and the beautiful Kelly Rowland are going to really electrify your mind. The song was basically an ode to my mom, just a lot of stuff she taught me coming up that made me the man I am today.” Kelly stated, “I’m so excited to be working with Big on this project.
