Anthony Petrello started marking remarkable achievements early in life. He was highly talented in Mathematics in his high school days in Newark where he grew up. He had the privilege to have Serge Lang, a celebrated professor, author, and mathematician as his mentor. He eventually graduated with a Bachelor and a Masters degrees. After graduating with a law degree, Anthony Petrello set out to the corporate world. His first engagement was at Baker & McKenzie in 1979. He was appointed the President the following year.

He contributed 7 million dollars to the construction of the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute at the Texas Children’s Hospital.
