This is the stuff that I really love and appreciate! Robert Glasper of the Robert Glasper Experiment recently displayed his craft in a live concert performance at the Highline Ballroom in NYC alongside true musicianship with artists Bilal and Lalah Hathaway. The track are featured on Glasper’s most recent LP, Black Radio and I love the entire release. “Cherish The Day” features soul singer Lalah Hathaway and “Letter To Hermione” features eclectic crooner Bilal. New Video: Jhené Aiko “For My Brother”

Songstress Jhené Aiko pays tribute to her brother Miyagi, who recently passed away from cancer last week at the age of 26. Def Jam artist Aiko wrote the track “For My Brother” and did get the chance to play it for her brother before his untimely demise. Currently, she is collaborating with producer No I.D. for her debut. She sings, “You are more than just my brother/ We grew up just like best friends/ I know nothing lasts forever, but I don’t want this to end.” Jhené will continue to push on because her brother told her not to give up. The incomparable Carlos Santana had several collaborations on his Grammy-winning album, Shaman, ranging from Dido to Musiq Soulchild to Macy Gray to Placido Domingo, but it was something about the chemistry between Santana and Michelle Branch on the track “The Game of Love” that just warmed my heart!
