New Video: Robin Thicke “All Tied Up”

8 Jun

Robin Thicke delivers the visuals for one of the sexiest tracks off of his latest LP, Love After War. “All Tied Up” is the third single and happens to be one of my favorites from the album. I can’t get enough of his tenderness and falsetto. Currently, you can catch Thicke performing and judging on the newest singing competition Duets alongside Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland on ABC. I love the adlibs presented. It makes me want to hit replay again and again! Watch here… {The following clip features adult content}

New Video: Vanessa Carlton “Hear the Bells”

8 Jun
Musician Vanessa Carlton premieres her new video for “Hear the Bells” from 2011′s Rabbits on the Run, which features home videos and clips of Carlton as a ballerina. “This visual clip for “Hear The Bells” is my favorite video I’ve ever done thus far. Re-teaming with Jake Davis and his team was fluid and an inspired experience. It was filmed in my house in New York City – the place where I wrote the song.  Doing a video for this song was Jake’s idea and I’m really happy he pushed me to do it.  It is a reveal of my history woven in with the story of a reclusive woman based on Little Edie of Grey Gardens- an eccentric and wonderful lady who rarely left her house. I believe we are our own fortune tellers,” explains Vanessa Carlton. She continues, “Hear the Bells” is about clarity, enlightenment.  It is song map about the journey of someone who is seeking out a remedy.  But remedies lie within us.  That is powerful and true but not always obvious.  I hope the song is a reminder.  In society, the sound of bells marks an important moment in time, whether from a church tower or a wind chime in a garden, it is always a sort of mystical alarm.” Watch here…

Hip-hop artist Noreaga aka N.O.R.E. is ready for the next chapter in his career. As half of the Queens, New York, rap duo Capone-N-Noreaga, N.O.R.E. dropped an underground rap classic with pair’s 1997 debut The War Report. As a solo artist on a major label, he’s made his mark with unforgettable street singles like “Superthug” and “Grimey.” Now N.O.R.E. is looking forward to going independent and releasing his S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G. album and movie. For the album, N.O.R.E. hooked up with his buddy Busta Rhymes, who will partner with Noreaga on the business end of things. “He’s been the person, when I was away and wasn’t around, who would call me and say, ‘Yo I don’t hear no records on the streets, son,’ ” N.O.R.E. said when he appeared on “RapFix Live” on Wednesday, using his best Busta impression. “He’s my peer and he’s also a fan, but he wants to see me win. So why do anything separate?”
