New EP: Miguel “Art Chic Dealer, Vol. 1″

Miguel revealed that his new EP Art Dealer Chic, Vol. 1, the first of three micro EPs, actually came by the inspiration of his dreams.  The EP features three songs:  “Adorn”, “That I Do (FTRMX)” and “Gravity.”  All songs were written and produced by Miguel, with co-production by the Fisticuffs on “Gravity.”  I love his harmonies and intricacies and I really hope that others catch on to the musical wiz that he is. Volume 2 drops March 27th and Volume 3 on April 27th. Listen here…

New Song: Teyana Taylor ft. Fabolous & Jadakiss “D.U.I.”

Singer/Rapper Teyana Taylor has been giving her fans a glimpse of what’s to come from  her forthcoming EP The Misunderstanding of Teyana Taylor. Here is her new track “D.U.I.” featuring rappers Fabolous and Jadakiss. Glad she’s singing on this track because I love her tonality. The EP is scheduled to drop March 12th with collaborations from Wale, Meek Mill, Common, Big Sean and Sean Kingston. Press play!

New Video: Jennifer Hudson & Ne-yo ft. Rick Ross

Actress/singer Jennifer Hudson & songwriter Ne-yo bring forth the lead single from the soundtrack for the upcoming movie by Steve Harvey “Think Like A Man”. Hudson is also joined by rap artist Rick Ross. In the video, J. Hud showed off a little choreography, had a guest cameo and skit by comedian Kevin Hart and displayed some footage from the film in the background clips. Watch here…

Singer-songwriter Tank releases the visuals for his new joint “Next Breath” off of the upcoming album This Is How I Feel. I just love how passionate he is when it comes to his artistry, he is one of the singers that allows himself to be vulnerable and transparent in his music. New Song: Ruben Studdard “Wear Me”

Season 2 American Idol winner Ruben Studdard recently dropped his new song entitled “Wear Me”, it’s an electric soulful anthem for the steppers. Ruben Studdard’s forthcoming album “Letters From Birmingham” will hit stores March 13th. This is a good look for Rube, I love when he utilizes his falsetto, it makes me remember why the legendary Gladys Knight dubbed him the “Velvet Teddy Bear.” Listen here…

Canadian singer Melanie Fiona stated that “This Time” ft. J. Cole is scheduled to be the second single off of her upcoming album The MF Life (available March 20th) and another track has surfaced entitled, “Rock, Paper, Scissors”. The anticipation is finally setting in for me, I am now looking forward to this release, after numerous setbacks. On the new Danja-produced song, JoJo gets heads bobbing with the dance track “Sexy to Me”. I like the track, it’s infectious, however I’m looking for songs on her upcoming LP that really show her vocal ability because I’ve followed JoJo for awhile and she can sing, so I’m hoping she has big ballads coming.
